When Eli got in touch with me to photograph his Budapest elopement, I was so excited because as soon as we started chatting, I knew this was going to be a totally unique and special event. I love when people eschew tradition and do their own thing.
Eli and his fiancée Courtney decided to elope in Budapest and were drawn to Buda Castle. After a flight delay that led to a missed flight, they still managed to meet me at 6:30 am (along with their friend who also acted as their officiant).
It was just the four of us and the birds chattering away at that time of morning. They read their handwritten vows to each other, shed a few tears, and before we knew it, they had officially eloped! I feel so honored to have been there to capture their sweet ceremony. Thank you, Eli and Courtney!
