Julie contacted me for a portrait session of her and her study abroad friends. Their semester abroad in Budapest is coming to a close and I can't think of a better way to end it than with a portrait session at one of their favorite places. We went to Szimpla Kert, a famous Budapest ruin pub, for an afternoon portrait session to take advantage of some of the gorgeous light that filters in through the garden in the back of the pub. Besides being a fun spot where they've made lots of memories during their time in Budapest, Szimpla is a location full of interesting things to look at. There's even an old East German Trabant car to sit in.
And here's an insider tip in case you find yourself at Szimpla or are in need of a chocolate fix: Their hot chocolate is divine, according to Julie and her friends.
